Treatment Descriptions
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a hands-on technique that uses gentle, light pressure to evaluate and enhance the physiological Craniosacral system which consists of the cerebrospinal fluid and the membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord. A CST therapist is able to assist in improving the functioning of the Central Nervous System by releasing restrictions in the Craniosacral system.
Based on the premise that each person has within them the ability to heal from pain and dis-function, CST can be used to access the residual effects of trauma that is held in the body, whether large or small, physical, mental or emotional traumas.
Some of the conditions that CST can help you to resolve are:
Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ)
Chronic Headaches including Migraines
Back & Neck Pain
Chronic Fatigue
Stress and Nervousness
Anxiety
Autism
Post-Trauma Symptoms
Fibromyalgia
Post-surgery related dis-functions
Emotional Disabilities
Learning Disabilities
Spinal Cord Injuries
Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia
When used preventatively, CST can assist in bolstering one’s resistance to disease and in bringing the body/mind into balance.
